Iain Page

Now an anchor for KPRC in Houston, Iain Page is known for being one of the first African American hosts at The Golf Channel. What most people don’t know is that he worked as an attorney for the SEC administering federal securities relating to the NYSE (and other self-regulatory organizations), and he was involved in regulation and surveillance of municipal bonds, emerging markets and the market meltdown of 1987. His expertise in securities and market regulation all began when he started out as a legislative intern on Capitol Hill after graduating from college. There, he worked for a Congressman and was responsible for all securities, banking and finance issues. After attending George Washington University Law School on a full scholarship, he clerked for top Wall Street law firms for a number of years before he was hired by the SEC. Following 4 years at the SEC, he embarked on a new career and entered the television world in 1994. He started out as a weekend sports anchor at WAPT in Jackson, MS. Because of his striking on-air presence and voice, not to mention his passion for sports, he quickly climbed the broadcasting ladder to ESPN, the Golf Channel, and now he has crossed over to become a news anchor at KPRC in Houston.
