Mike Yam
Mike Yam joined ESPNews, ESPN’s 24-hour sports news network in 2008, as an anchor. Since then, his role has expanded as he often provides the news updates during ESPN2's weekday morning programming, ESPN First Take. Yam is also heavily involved in ESPN's NBA, College Football & College Basketball coverage. Prior to ESPNews, Yam has hosted ESPN Radio’s Fantasy Focus from and served as an anchor on NBA–TV’s Game Night and as the host of Fantasy Hoops. Before NBA-TV, Yam hosted Sirius Radio’s The Mike and Murray Show. Yam attended Fordham University where he was a recipient of the Marty Glickman Play-by-Play award. Beyond his work, Yam is a philanthropist as a member of the Alzheimer's Association of New York. He was awarded Joe Girardi's Catch 25 Foundation’s Joan Pasheluk Tribute Award for raising awareness of Alzheimer's in the media.
