In 2011 Chris Cotter joined ESPN after a 3 year stint at FOX Business Network (FBN).

Prior to joining FBN, Cotter served as an anchor and host for SportsNet New York. He has hosted sports programs for CNN and Comcast Sports Southeast as well. Cotter has also been a guest host for Sports Extra and the Atlanta Falcons pre-game show on WXIA-TV (NBC) in Atlanta, Georgia.

Cotter began his broadcast career in sports radio. He served as a host for WQXI 790 The Zone, as well as a shot-by-shot announcer for several tournaments on PGA Tour Radio.

Before entering broadcasting, Cotter worked in the business world. He began his business career at SunTrust Bank, Inc. where he managed corporate relationships within the state of Illinois. Cotter received an MBA from the University of Georgia.
